The Most Chaotic Countdown Week Ever: Disney Fantasy in 6 Days, Villains on the Destiny, Hobbits at Sea, and Tour Rumors We Can’t Ignore 🚢✨

If you’ve ever hit that point in the week where your brain feels like it has 37 tabs open — half of them cruise related, the other half pure pop culture excitement — welcome. You are in good company.

Because right now, we are living in the most random (and honestly… the most fun) countdown week ever.

In the next six days, we’re getting ready to sail on the Disney Fantasy — a ship that a LOT of Disney cruisers call Disney’s number one ship. And while our brains are already on “Fantasy Mode,” we’re also wrapping up our Disney Destiny Day 3 vlog, which is packed with villains, characters, and one moment that had us all like… “wait, what just happened?”

And then on top of that, we have another cruise coming up that is basically a fever dream in the best way: a Comic-Con cruise where we’re meeting two hobbits from Lord of the Rings.

Oh — and the universe is threatening to drop new music and tours from Harry Styles and Bruno Mars.

So yes. It’s a lot.

But it’s the kind of “a lot” that makes life feel exciting, and we’re leaning fully into it. Here’s what our week looks like right now — from cruise prep to cruise memories to all the reasons we’re ridiculously hyped.

The “6 Days Until Disney Fantasy” Spiral Has Officially Begun

You know the moment when you look at the calendar and go…

“Wait… we leave in six days?!”

That’s where we are.

And the closer we get, the more our lives turn into a mixture of:

  • packing piles slowly taking over the house,

  • Amazon boxes showing up like “you forgot something,”

  • kids asking 900 questions a day,

  • and us doing the mental math of how many outfits a human truly needs on a cruise (and why it is always more than we planned).

The Disney Fantasy is one of those ships that people talk about with real emotion. Like the kind of love usually reserved for:

  1. childhood movies,

  2. family traditions,

  3. and that one perfect cruise you can’t stop comparing every other cruise to.

So when we say we’re excited… we mean we’re in full-on countdown mode.

We keep hearing the same things over and over from other cruisers:

  • the vibe on the Fantasy is unmatched,

  • the shows are a big deal,

  • the theming feels “classic Disney” in the best way,

  • and it’s a ship people come off of and say, “yeah… that one’s special.”

So naturally, now we’re trying to be responsible adults and also planning our entire personality around this cruise.

Meanwhile… Disney Destiny Day 3 Was a Whole Movie

While we’re getting ready for our next sailing, we’re also reliving one of the most unexpectedly packed days from our Disney Destiny trip — Day 3 — which is basically the cruise equivalent of:

“Let’s just see what happens today…”

…and then everything happens.

Day 3 is one of those days where you don’t realize how much you did until you sit down at night and start recapping it. And then you’re like:

“Wait. We did villains… characters… games… chaos… and still found time to breathe?”

This vlog has that perfect combination of:

  • family fun,

  • Disney cruise magic,

  • the random stuff you can’t plan for,

  • and the moments that become “family lore” immediately.

The highlights (without turning this into a checklist)

There are characters. There’s energy. There’s that Disney cruise day feeling where you’re bouncing between activities and laughter and little surprises — and then suddenly you’re in a moment that feels like it belongs in a movie.

And two of the biggest moments?

  1. Ella and Jackson getting chosen for Villains Game Night (YES, actually picked)

  2. The Shadow Man moment with Jackson that ends with the question:
“Will you shake my hand?” 😳

It’s one of those lines that sounds simple until it’s happening to your kid in real life — and suddenly you’re wide awake like, “OH. We are in this now.”

If you like watching the parts of Disney cruises that feel unexpected, slightly chaotic, and so memorable… this vlog is for you.

The Pre-Cruise Routine We Pretend Isn’t a Routine (But Totally Is)

Let’s talk about how cruise prep works in our house.

Because it’s never just “pack a suitcase.”

It’s a multi-stage process:

Stage 1: Confidence

“We’re pros at this. We’ve done cruises. We got this.”

Stage 2: The First Pile

A pile appears somewhere. No one remembers starting it. But it exists.

Stage 3: The Accessories Explosion

Suddenly there are:

  • lanyards,

  • portable chargers,

  • random toiletry bags,

  • sunscreen,

  • waterproof phone cases,

  • and at least three things someone swears they must have to have a good cruise.

Stage 4:The “Wait… What Did We Forget?” Spiral

This is the stage where you remember one random thing at 11:47 PM like:

“Did we pack… swimsuits??”

Stage 6: The Final Night Chaos

Everyone is suddenly doing laundry like it’s the Olympics.

The Disney Fantasy Hype: Why People Call It Disney’s #1 Ship

We’ve heard it so many times that we’re going into this cruise with extremely high expectations (which is exciting… and slightly dangerous).

But here’s the thing:

When people say “Disney’s number one ship,” they usually mean it checks every box:

  • classic Disney atmosphere,

  • top-tier entertainment,

  • great dining rotation,

  • family-friendly but also feels special for adults,

  • and the kind of cruise where you come home and immediately start planning the next one.

We’re excited for the big iconic stuff, obviously…

But we’re also excited for the little stuff:

  • the random hallway moments,

  • the kids walking into a lounge and saying “WOW” like they’ve never seen furniture before,

  • the late-night deck vibes,

  • the feeling of being fully in “cruise time.”

That feeling is addictive.

Now Let’s Talk About the Comic-Con Cruise: Two Hobbits. On a Ship.

This is the part where we still can’t say it without laughing.

We’re going on a Comic-Con cruise… and we’re meeting two hobbits from Lord of the Rings.

Two.

Hobbits.

At sea.

This is the kind of sentence that belongs in a dream or an internet meme, not real life — and yet here we are.

We don’t even know what’s going to happen in those moments, but we know we’re going to remember it forever.

And we love that cruising can be this wild mix of:

  • travel,

  • entertainment,

  • fandom,

  • family memories,

  • and those “how is this my life?” experiences.

And Then There’s the Music/Tour Rumor Chaos: Harry Styles + Bruno Mars?!

Can we all agree that when an artist drops new music, the emotional roller coaster begins immediately?

Because the rumors about Harry Styles and Bruno Mars releasing new music and touring have us like…

“Please don’t do this to us right before a cruise.”

But also…

“Please do it.”

Because imagine:

  • cruise countdown,

  • new music drops,

  • tour announcement,

  • and suddenly our entire year’s schedule changes.

We are not prepared. But we are excited.

Basically… We Have Too Many Reasons to Be Hyped Right Now

So that’s where we’re at:

  • finishing edits,

  • posting vlogs,

  • packing for the Fantasy,

  • planning future cruise content,

  • thinking about hobbits on ships,

  • and watching tour rumors like it’s our job.

And if you want to feel the energy of this season with us — start with our newest vlog.

Because Disney Destiny Day 3 is the exact kind of cruise day that gets you excited for your next sailing.
